Santander still owe the money, unless they can prove they have settled the matter in an alternative method. Having promised to respond, they have failed to do so. How can that be anyone else's fault?0

I have had recent dealings with Santander, and have found them to be utterly useless, their staff rarely return calls when requested/promised, and the only person who did exactly as required, when required and therefore resolved my issue in full was the chap who closed my account!
Problem solved, no more Santander.Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
