Easy File Transfer??

Hi,

Can I transfer files from an old laptop which I think is using XP to a new laptop using Windows 8? Music/photos/documents.

Could I clone my hard drive? Or is it easier to just put all on an external HD and manually transfer over?

Also, if there anyway to transfer over my Microsoft Office? Donlt have the codes as I bought my old laptop a number of years ago?

Can't clone it, but you can use Windows Easy Transfer(included with Windows 8). You can use Belarc to retrieve your Product Keys, so that you can reinstall your programs.

Yes indeed. Lots to do. Got my annual trip coming up, so clearing the decks so to speak.
