Advice on Egg Loan PPI

Hello all...

After reading many a post on this site, I decided to dig out all previous loan and credit card paperwork.

To my surprise on my Egg agreement form its showing added PPI, and which from what i've read, was added or 'front loaded' to my loan.

My questions to anyway that can help is, do I have a case if I was totally unaware that this had been applied to my loan?

Thanks in advance

How were you unaware? You had an agreement showing you the figure. How did you buy the loan? How was the PPI element sold to you? What was done wrong?

Not being aware of it is an issue but it doesnt mean it is a mis-sale. You may have forgotten. You may have bought in error. What you have is a start but you need to give us a bit more info on how you bought it.

  • Hi

I bought the loan over the phone, the PPI wasn't sold to me as an optional extra, that much I can remember. Had I'd known the monthly loan repayment could of been considerably less than I did pay, I would of declined PPI.

I bought this loan back in 2005 so have little recollection of the actual call and how the PPI sale element was presented to me.

You need better than a "little recollection" in order to be successful in your complaint.
