Any good ones? Decided I would do some stuff on a new platform rather than windows. I'm interested in doing some MySQL/PHP/Perl stuff so I'm guessing Apache, My SQL, Perl for starters. But are there any good WYSIWYG web authoring software programmes that I can download?

I was also thinking of learning XHTML/CSS so maybe something that can recognise syntax for all of this would be just fine!

Yeah, try PHPEclipse which is very good and extendible with many extra features.

Infact I must point out its not strictly WYSIWYG, but a development IDE.

You can also use Nvu which is a WYSIWYG editor - and then use phpeclipse for the proper code.

    Bluefish is also one.

nvu is getting old now, but can be useful for simple websites.
