Awarded Support Group ESA

Hi

Last thursday i recieved a curtousy phonecall from ESA telling me i had been placed in the support group for 12 months. I was told my claim would be backdated to the 10 november. Ive since had a payment which was still at assessment rate.

My questions are, how soon after this call will i be recieving the decision letter, backpayment and the main phase increase.

Also, you may well be entitled to the enhanced disability premium - at 14/week or so.
As to timing - I've no idea.

Im on contribution based ESA plus dont meet the criteria for the premiums:/ but thanks anyway.

Will add im also a new claim so not transfering from one benefit to another.
