Curry, Comet, Dixons are they all the same for price matching

currys,dixons and pc world are part of the DSG group.The link used to be as well.pixmania (.com) is also part of DSG

Jessops wouldnt price match the currys website or store for the NIKON D40. They had the black one with extra lens for £499 and when I showed them the web page they said they wouldnt do a price match unless it was in the store.. When I went back and told them the store would give me it for the £399 they said they still wouldnt price match...This was the 3 stores in Glasgow city centre. Not one would price match

The price match should still be happening unless Jessops have changed policy very recently.

Just back from Jessops and got to speak to the manager in 2 shops (the other branches phoned the 3rd guy so he just said he knew why I was there and the answer is no)... Both said they didnt price match the currys price because the ones they had on display were the "Exclusive" silver body and because the black ones were not on display then they didnt have to price match... Both stores had stock as I was holding the camera in both branches when I asked them to price match and today when I made the complaint..

Yes but I was holding the black version identicle to the one in currys at the time I asked them to price match.... The silver one (exclusive) with extra lens was £449 from jessops and the black one was £489 for the exact same kit. so they had it in stock in exactly the same colour but still wouldnt price match...



BTW just as a matter of interest I asked today and currys said they would price match the silver one from Jessops. I have sent off an e-mail to ask if the price match offer still applies and why I wasnt given it..
