It's Dixons and Currys that are part of the same group. Not sure about them price matching a website, but I'd think the answer would be a no.

Answer yes, I wanted a small TV which was £159.00 online and when I went in to store it was £179.00, the salesman checked online and then matched the price. That was in Curry's

Pc world also done it with my lappy too

I got Curry's to price match themselves over Easter - I ordered just before thinking I had got a good price, then they knocked off £41 over the Easter weekend. My order had not been despatched, asked them about the price match, and got £41 back on my card!!

Hope this helps, I nearly went into shock when it actually worked!!!!!!!!!!!

Currys don'nt have to match Dixons as there web only, but it depends if they need the sale that day, they might match it + delivery charge

I asked my local currys shop as well, and they told me they do not math dixons. Hubby thinks it mght be better to buy in the shop & pay a bit extra for the service in case something goes wrong, but I am sure with TV if you have problems you have to ring yourself, you cannot go to the shop. Am I right? Thanks

Bought my NIKON D40 at easter. According to the website it was WEB ONLY but currys gave it to me. They in fact upgraded me to the next package for no extra cost because they only had the display lense left.

If Jessops sell the same camera they price match any UK websites so if Dixons won't play ball go to Jessops.

    Which camera are you after???
I have noticeed that http://www.ebuyer.co.uk have an excellent rang of cameras, and they are usually cheaper than anywhere else on the highstreet/ web. Plus at the moment if you pay through goole you get another 10gbp off. Plus free delivery on orders over 89.99.

    Anyway enough of my musings.

PS I am after an Ixus 900, they look pretty good, but I don't know whether I can really justify the big spend.
