Posting with Myhermes after 16th Dec

Hi, I still have a parcel to send by Myhermes, can I still drop it off at the shop as it says on their homepage the last drop off date is 16th Dec? I know it won't get there by Christmas but will it actually be collected from the shop?

It will be collected from the shop but will be delivered late - allow 7 days.
Collections in my area collapsed last week under the pressure of parcels and they were putting on a temporary extra collector to try to catch up. How successful this was i do not know as i have given up waiting for collections and take them to the shop.

I dropped my parcel off at the shop on 16th December, they took it to the "central depot" where it sat for THREE DAYS before going to the local depot. Won't use them again.

Wow, three whole days. On their website it was saying on the 15th please allow 7 DAYS for delivery. It's the middle of the Christmas rush for Hermes, especially as everyone has been dropping off their last minute Christmas parcels off at their shops. I send a 1st Class parcel on the 13th and it still hasn't turned up. Hermes seem to be doing a good job at the moment if it only took them 72 hours to get it round their hub at a time this busy.
