How much would it cost to write a will?

It's a pretty simple one, I have a "joint tenant" mortgage and have a Life Insurance policy as well as Death In Service cover through my employer.

There's no hard and fast rule as to the cost of writing a Will. The best thing is to call around and see what local solicitors will charge you.

Remember - cheapest is not necessarily best. See if you can speak to the solicitor who will be preparing the Will for you - it is always best to go with the one with whom you feel most comfortable, and who takes the time to understand your needs and wishes.
