Hi Guys, Just visited my aol a/c kept in favourites on aol and chrome, both said certificate not valid.Went ahead , curious, and it was a site, perporting to be Talk Talk, would I like to do a survey.obviously, just shut it down and removed from favs.I tend to use favs for all my banks etc; I know it,s not recommened,it,s first time I,ve come across this, so I,ve been compromised. Looks like my url has been changed. Apart from "Don,t store details on favs," any advice please, nothing showing up in Malwarebytes.Just downloaded Skype, could have come with that, from filehippo, it said it was having trouble with some parts ? Took it off ages ago, because of advice about a patch;;;;;removed it now
When I tried to get filehippo on aol/explorer,for skype, it stopped me several times, even though I said allow download, but chrome allowed it ?

A very common cause of the "certificate not valid" error message is if your PC's system date is set wrong.

I've no idea why anyone would want to create a fake TalkTalk survey - people don't normally expect to get asked for personal information in surveys, so it doesn't seem to be a particularly well thought out method of attack.

Hi fwor, been using it for years this way, it,s my billing date, hence my looking at my bill. Been into a couple of banks, on Fav, ok. Dates etc ok.I ,ve reported it to trusteer, got site secured with them , as all my Favs are, given them a report.I know some don,t like Rapport, but I use it; aol, never tt, always shows, they are still seperate as billing and contracts. HSBC are always saying don,t use favs .
