I can understand that it makes you really tired and down at the thought of fighting.

I am just concerened that you had a car you were ok with, went for a trade and have paid even more and you will have no car plus an extra debt to pay for nothing!

Hopefully someone else will come along with something that works better for you it just seems a shame to surrender a car and collect an extra debt and still need a car. Can you child mind without one?

you are absolutly right, it woulld make more sense to fight but i cant see it getting anywhere, this company are basically loan sharks.
i made a HUGE mistake by upgarding to a 7 seater,i should have held on to my scenic.
i really can not child mind without a car,i live in a village and my car is essential particually in school hols.
my son has just bought a car for when he turns 17 in july so the plan is that i pay to get it through the mot and tax it and drive that until something else comes up.

Well can you afford that? If you can bare in mind that you will be able to go on being a childminder!

On the other hand if you can't, hang on they offered you something, why did they do that? Because they are in wrong so you could try for a little more.

The decision is yours you know in your heart of hearts what you can afford.

How much more are you paying a month than with the orginal car that you could afford?

Hell your spelling may be mad I am talking in bloomin riddles!!!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
A childminder doesn't need a car - there are a couple of registered childminders near me who cannot even drive, so I don't see that as a problem for you. It would mean that you might have to do the school/nursery walk rather than run, but you could see it as exercise rather than a chore?

I live in a village and could not childmind as I could not get the children to a doctor it was an option I thought of till they asked me my emergency plan!

If you have 7 seater car can you actually take more children on with your licence places etc?

a couple of childminders in my village dont drive either,BUT they also dont offer the level of care and varied activities that i do. so i DO have to have a car to childmind as it would mean the level of care i give could not be maintained.
i also live the furthest away from the village school as anyone could and walk religously EVERY day, infact i campaigned for 2 years to encourage parents/carers to walk to school and ditch the car.
