Hi Guys,
I'm currently thinking about getting a new Laptop for both work and home. I work with a lot of applications which take up a lot of RAM, so I will need quite a fast machine, however my budget is around the 600 mark. I don't even really know where to start looking so any help would be great. I also need plenty of storage space on the machine.
Alternatively, would a tablet be a better option? Thanks in advance!

what do you actualkly want to do with it?
which programs (applications) are you looking at running? is it just spreadsheets and word documents or any specific job related programs?
is portability a major concern? looking for smaller and lighter?
will you be doing lots of typing?
what do you class as lots of storage space? 500gb 1tb 2tb 3tb?
basically from the limited amount you have posted above a tablet will not be suitable as at moist you can get 64gb of storage space, which to me really isnt a lot. not only that but most tablets limit you to only 1gb of ramDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Thanks for your reply,
I'm looking for 500-1000GB. I need to store a lot of image and video files and need to run a lot of the adobe programs (photoshop, premiere etc) and I will also need to store standard word documents etc. Sorry my post was a bit limited, I'm not very tecchy when it comes to Laptops and I know nothing about tablets haha! I will need to do some typing too so I'm thinking a laptop will probably be better. Portability is fairly important but I don't need it to be tiny, just as long as I can take it around with me without too much hassle!0 -
ok i have not done any further looking around yet (there are probably other good systems around) however i have spotted this
