RBS Cash Machine Refund Credit

I recently received an unexpected £114 deposit into my account with Ref: RBS04/07. I assumed it was a mistake related to the RBS/Nat West Bank Crash and queried it with my bank.
I got a letter from my bank saying it was for an RBS review of failed cash machine withdrawals that were still debited from accounts.
Turns out that it relates to a time when I was ill and walked away from a Natwest cash machine in April, 2007 without taking my £100 from the dispensing slot. The machine must have "sucked" it back in and still debited my account. I returned to the machine and took out another £100 shortly after.
