Engagement Ring Help needed

Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right place or not bbut im having no luck anywhere else at all. I am looking to have an engement ring made, I already have a very nice diamond but I cant find somewhere that would make the actual ring and set the diamond etc etc. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

Equinox jewellery is always recommended on another forum I read though that's for stone supply too, give them a shout can't hurt to try

Hi, I'm not sure where you're based, but I had my wife's engagement ring made by Carolyn Codd in Nottingham and they did a fantastic job of setting a diamond I supplied, and making the white gold ring itself from scrap gold which I supplied and they whitened.

If you live in/near either London or Birmingham you could try either Hatton Gardens or the Birmingham Ring Quarter. Both have plenty of independent jewellers who should be able to help you. I've not been to Birmingham myself but we got my engagement ring (pre-made) from a jewellers in Hatton Gardens. Richmond also has a cluster of lovely shops.

Ill second the Birmingham jewellery quarter. Lots and lots of jewellers there that you can visit. Try their website, you'll be able to email a few to see if they do that kind of work before you go.
I had my engagement and wedding rings from there, cant remember the name of the store off hand. Will have a look.... I think they had a website too.

If you're going before Christmas, make a day of it and venture into the city centre to the German market for a mulled wine and bratwurst!

GH Moore is lovely, I had a ring from there for my 21st. A design from one of the guys working there that had been part of his collage course.

I can highly recommend Euro Findings who are based in both Hatton Garden and Birmingham. I have used them loads of times and have always received brilliant service and gorgeous items.
