Part of my refund on hold

I got refunded for an item which cost £5.90
£3.00 of this was funded by my paypal balance and the other £2.90 was funded from my bank account.
Now that it's been refunded, the £3.00 is in my paypal account, but the £2.90 is on a temporary hold while they "review".
Is this normal?

Yes - they need to transfer it back to the account from which it was funded.
