I'd much rather stop the horse meat trade across Europe first, but it'll never end because it's acceptable in that culture to eat that meat.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0

Not sure why you want to put those in 1st/2nd etc order when ALL are barbaric and ALL should be stopped at once at the same time.
Really not sure what the point of your post in this thread is? If you posted a link to horse meat ban petition - I could perhaps understand but you did not so ?
Never mind.0 -
Done! Disgusting!0

Is this about the conditions, or just the fact that some cultures eat animals that we only consider to be pets? Because unless you're all vegans, the second one is a bit hypocritical.
I eat pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, turkeys and I'm currently sitting on a couch made of dead animal skin. I have Hindu friends who find the amount of beef eaten in this country to be disgusting and upsetting, but that's what we do in our culture.
If its about the conditions, then that's a laudable goal. all animals that humans use for our own purposes should have a comfortable life and humane death.0 -
Well, I do not eat meat so for me this is very simple.0

Fair enough, I assume you also sign petitions calling for a ban on the sale of pig, cow and chicken meat then?0 -
Yes I do - and also the ones against halal killing of animals.
For for the ones that do eat meat - the pure conditions on how the animals are kept/killed should put them off their meal to be honest...0 -
I have never knowingly eaten dog meat and I don't think that I have yet earned the right to stop anyone else doing so if they want to.0
