Student living with joint tenant on JSA

I'm going to be applying for Uni which means i'd no longer be entitled to jsa.

I'd be living with 2 house mates who would be joint tenants who would be on jsa-income based and housing benefit.

Does anyone know if this would affect my loan or if it would affect their jsa/housing benefit?

We don't all want to move in together if it will make everyone's lifes harder.

Maybe one or other would get a job before you started uni? In which case the situation would have changed.

Whoever gets a job would have to pay council tax. They may ask you for a small contribution.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
