Premier Inn Booking Issues-Terms and Conditions

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but just had a terrible evening trying to get our booking over Christmas done- visit the lone parent for a few days and have to split up between her and the hotel.

Not only does our room cost a lot more for Christmas Day compared to Christmas Eve and Boxing Day- and we don't get our room serviced on Christmas Day either!

The terms and conditions specifically say the booking is reserved until 1pm. But the room is not available to you until 2pm...

And when I was doing the booking, I actually read the terms and conditions (which I consider is sensible) and then clicked back to tick the little box saying I'd read the terms and conditions only for the session to have timed out (and all the booking info).

So I had to redo everything again...
I'm

Actually the room is reserved for the night when you book it. The 1pm is the cut-off for cancellation without charge. As long as you choose the flexible rate.

I don't think it's unreasonable to give the premier inn housekeeping staff Christmas Day off work. I would guess it'll be a skeleton staff on Xmas day.

Room prices will be dictated by demand

I have to agree. I can't see anything to complain about here. :(

    Servicing

make the bed, wash 2 cups, wipe the sink, empty the half full bin.

I prefer to do it myself anyway....
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I am in PIs this year for both Christmas and Boxing Day nights.

£29, paid in full in advance, booked last week and significantly cheaper than both hotels when I have stayed at them previously this year.

The rooms won't require servicing if you tidy up after yourself.
