All auto-logins randomly reset. Why?

This has happened a few times now & it's real annoying.
Normally i'll open a page - MSE, Google, other forums for example & i'll already be logged in.
Then randomly every now & then, i'll open the page & i'll not be logged in. I'll have to enter my username & password all over again, but then when i check other sites requiring a log in, i'll have to do the same for ALL of them all over again.
Then they'll be saved & auto log me in for some time before doing it all over again at a later date.
Very irritating. Why does it happen?
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Does anyone else use the computer? They might be deleting cookies for some reason
Do you have any software like ccleaner which could be automatically deleting cookies on a schedule?0 -
Nobody else. Just me
I do have Ccleaner, but i've not ran it since i installed it.0 -
It does sound like the cookies are being wiped. Which browser are you using?0

I have FireFox, Chrome & IE installed. I generally use a mix of FireFox & Chrome with FireFox being my main browser (& the one i noticed the problem with).0

I have the same problem, seems to occur randomly with the latest version of Firefox running on 64 bit windows, there's a few posts on the Mozilla forums about it.

The problem is that cookies.sqlite file in your profile folder gets deleted. It does however make a copy [ cookies.sqlite.bak ] before deleting it, so you can just replace it to get things back the way they were.0 -
I've gone start>search & entered cookies.sqlite.bak but found nothing.
How do i get this .bak file so i can rename it without the .bak extension.0 -
In the Firefox Button or menu bar, click "Help" and select "Troubleshooting Information".
The about:support page will open.
Under "Application Basics", click on "Show Folder"0
