Hello, can anyone recommend a free database that can be downloaded and used? I've got open office's base but am having real difficulty importing data from a spreadsheet into it.

It doesn't come much better than OpenOffice to be honest. What sort of problems are you having importing? And where are you importing from? Possibly consider saving as a different format in the source package for import into OpenOffice too.Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0

data is in open office calc. just looking to get it into a table in base so i can set up and manage a mail merge (its data for a mail out). would you happen to know what format i should save it in so as to open in base?0
