EXPIRED Body Shop save £20 on a £40 spend - don't have to spend full amount!

Yes I have "saved" £80 if they honour, but it is all overpriced to start with, and they have just had £27 off me that I had no intentions of spending tonight or with them in the foreseeable future .......so who wins then:question:
it may be a clever marketing trick cos for every one who gets the order down to £4.99 there will have been someone - like the original poster who was happy with £11.99 - still gotta be bags of profit in stuff at that price.

I never thought about it like that - I had no intention of shopping with Body Shop tonight (still using all the products I buy usually anyway); so they've made money out of me that otherwise might have gone elsewhere. If it wasn't honoured, I wouldn't shop with them again to be honest. I spend loads with them throughout the year at regular price, a glitch every now and then makes it feel like they appreciate it!

they had a big glitch a few months back and loads of us got orders of £120 ( a few times) for £7.99 delivered. they honoured the lot.

Noooo, they didn't honour them all. They didn't honour mine. They rang me and cancelled my order and I still haven't received my LYBS card!

Hi did anyone stock up on the gift cubes etc in the summer sale ready for christmas pesents. Have you checked the fragrance/smell ? I bourght some satsuma cubes, shea cubes and neroli spray etc and the all smell of alcholol and I am mortified, :eek::eek::eek: have already wrapped and given most out. Anyone else han this problem or checked theirs ? I will be contacting BS I stocked up but now I'm seriously regretting it and will be checking smells on delivery instead of assuming all is as it should be. :mad::mad::mad:

I checked a few of mine but only if i'd never tried that fragrance myself :eek:

Nope, they have been stored in a a large plastic lidded box in the spare room. I'm thinking they were old stock because the packaging changed following the sale in july. Didn't get chance to call them yet.
