Is "what" the same approach as letting a room out?
But in general the answer is "no". A restriction on "sub letting" does not mean that you cannot take in a lodger.0 -

Just wondering if the OP got anywhere with reporting this?
We are on the Homebuy scheme and have been working really hard to overpay our mortgage and have managed to shave 8 years off it in the 3 years that we have been here. I feel this is the whole point of the scheme to allow people to get an affordable mortgage so they can start building some equity.
Two of our neighbours lived in the houses for a year before moving away and renting out, one has moved to Mozambique so they won't be back anytime soon! It's very disappointing to have moved into a street with families on it which now has some pretty unpleasant people renting the houses instead.
Even if they had rented out to nice people I still wouldn't agree as I feel the government is funding a nice little buy to let scheme for them. I don't like reporting people for things but I feel tempted!0
