BT price increase

I haven't had any official notifications of the price increase yet, no letters or emails and I've been waiting patiently for the notification so that I can prompty cancel my services with BT. I'm currently in a contract so was wanting to use this as a way to get out.

I emailed BT and they said they've sent everyone a letter but since I haven't received it, they will send me the letter again within 7 days.

Does anyone know if I'll still be able to cancel within 10 days of receiving this new letter?

    Hi, ElkyElky,

And yes you can. I know this because others have done so.
  • Called them yesterday to find out that line rental is increasing to £15.25/month. My contract with BT comes to an end in August 2013, but my line rental saver finishes in Dec. Wondering if I should just shell out the £20.15 including the anytime plan for the next 8 months..?
