second / part time job query

Hi all, just wondered if anyone can advise on an issue for me please. I have had a second job for the past 20 years working behind a bar at our local social club. Over the past years the shifts have changed dramatically from doing upto 3 nights a week when i was younger and the club busy, to lately over the past 5/6 years just doing 1 regular shift every week, plus the occassional extra shift is required. I regulary do a minimum of 4 hours per week, of which i am paid. Over the last 2 and a bit years, because we have had a new regime in place with a new (and useless treasurer & secretary), it seems the accountancy of wages has declined, with sometimes getting wage slips, and sometimes not. To clarify, due to the nature of the job, my wage was taken from the till with a note left in, and the treasurer sorted out all the paperwork (well, the original treasurer anyway) upstairs, with marking my top line wage up to cover for PAYE, and ensuring this was accounted for accordingly (and yes, i do have P60's showing this!).
Recently, about 6 weeks ago, the club closed down for, what we were led to believe was, a te temprary period whilst all out debt issues were sorted. However, despite the powers that be not telling anyone what is happening, it seems like the club is now closed for good, and the building having to be sold off to cover the debts.
With this, and with the fact that i only worked 4 hours a week, can anyone advise if i am entitled to anything legally. I know part time workers have rights now, but do you still need to do a minimum number of hours still to qualify?
Any assistance would be gratefully recieved.
Kind regards
HXDave

What sort of contract did you have?
if an employee with continuous service then redundancy.

I asume you have been getting paid holidays if not then there will be some money due for those.0 -
Hi getmore,
basically, as i started as a glass collector many many years ago, there was no contract, and never seen one for here in my life. I know it may be difficult, however i may have some assistance as i am sure somewhere i may have legal cover on some credit card or bank account i have, but need to check. I just need to know if 4 hours per week on a second job qualifies me for employee rights.
Kind regards

no lower limit on hours for redundancy so it will be down to employment status.
probably worth putting in a claim for redundancy anyway.
Oh and they should have paid notice as well that would be 12 weeks
A set of P60s may be enough to show there was a continuous contract in place.0
