Decided to finally get my act together and start some saving.
Target: £50,000
Ideally like to be there by 31st January 2015. I will be starting 1st January 2013, so 2 years. Stupidly ambition target and will require some innovative thinking to get there.
I will update at the end of each month and post below the running total.
Let the fun begin.
1st Jan 2013 - (£6000)
Jan 2013 - £200 (£1300 car)
Feb 2013 - £600
Agg Total - £800

We have the same target. I have £6000 of debt. Would like £50k savings by early 2015.
I was hoping to bring some over form December but other things got in the way. So my first balance update will be end of this month, hopefully be £800-1000 mark.
I decided to just delve into the cliches this year, no more smoking and joining a gym. See how long that lasts...
Hoping for £1000 for Feb, will do my sums month end.
Good news 1: Expecting hefty tax rebate in next few months (circa £1250)
Good news 2: Lots of overtime available next month (circa £300)
So hoping for £2000 in both March and April.
Mini target - 'Debt free' April end.
