hi ,
i have just bought this old mixer ,it works ok but is a bit noisy i dont have a manual so wondered where you put the oil/ grease in and what type of oil/grease. dont really want to pay $15 for service manual so any help to get her running a bit quieter would be much appreciated.

You can download a manual from the Kenwood site. It will cost you £1.50 though. The grease should be food grade grease. Kenwood sell that too for £9.99 a tube. You may be able to source something similar locally.0

https://www.kenwoodchefservice.com - this isn't an official Kenwood site, but is very good, it's part of https://www.kenwoodchefrestore.co.uk which is a great source of spares and service items.0 -

Are you sure it isn't meant to be noisy? I have a recent Kenwood Chef, and it is very noisy.
Where did you get the mixer? My mum had one, probably 20 years old or more, but my sister snaffled it.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
They're all noisy, even when they were brand new.0
