i pad retina display ?

As this latest version is about a hundred pound more than the ipad 2 , does anyone have this and think that it is worth paying the extra money for ?
any recommendations please

    Definitely, if you want a 'full size' tablet. Otherwise just get an iPad mini.

    I've got an iPad 3 and think the display is much better for reading text than my old iPad 1. I'd say it is worth the extra money if you are going to use it a lot for browsing the internet and reading ebooks.

    Retina display is definitely worth paying the extra for in my opinion, I have an iPad 3 having previously had an iPad 2 which my wife now uses, still a great screen but looks terrible in comparison.

    In addition to the higher resolution (aka clearer) display, I think the newer models also have a faster processor.
