Hanging a 30Kg mirror

Hello All,
I hope somebody can help. I have just bought a beautiful huge mirror from Ikea to hang on the wall in my living room. It came with 2 brackets to attach it to tha wall but no screws. The instructions say this is because it depends what wall you have and you need to get specific ones. I think my wall is just plastered with brick on the outside, how do I know what fixing to use? I'm wary of putting up this 30Kg mirror then bringing the plaster or may wall tumbling down!
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

You need to establish what the wall is made of. I hung my mirror (estimate it about 15kg) using some very long screws and wall plugs. I believe they were about 4 inches long - maybe a bit more. This was screwed into a brick wall.0

It is an external wall and doesn't sound hollow. It is at the end of a terrace but i'm not sure about the rafters0

I have a similar item in my lounge (wood lats and plaster). Had to find the vertical studs then screw in hooks from the hardware shop, using wall plugs (in the wood yes). Make sure you use a heavy wire for hanging the mirror.0
