Unless you spend hours in the Kitchen each day, every day, i'd look at something which heats the room faster, and so can just be switched on / off as you go in there for short lengths of time.
Plinth Fan Heaters are good in this respect, which fit in the bottom of kitchen units. They have a loading of around 2kw - 2.4kw which is about the same as a medium - large section of UF heating, the difference is that the Plinth heater can just be run for instant heat and fast room up time as and when required, where the UF has to be set to come on hours before hand, or worst still be left running all day because of the length of time it needs to heat the floor and then the room."Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
Thanks for that....we will have a small utility room adjacent the new ext. could we have a small boiler for hot tap water in the util. room that also supplies a radiator in the extension? ian0
