Paying an IBAN with a credit card

Thanks for the info, I've found a site called ibanpal which is probaly owned by PayPal. They charge a small fee for the transfer
I don't think Ibanpal has any connection to PayPal. The whois record for ibanpal.eu gives the owner's contact details as a hotmail email address and a postal address that appears to belong to a mail forwarding service. The domain name was registered in January 2011, so if it was an outright scam it would probably have been shut down by now. However, the lack of proper contact details apart from the form on the website means that I'd be very cautious of using this service.0 -
OP, if you use Ibanpal to send the money and there is anything wrong with the bike, or it doesnt turn up, you have no come back at all.0

If the company has no phone number....to be avoided like a barge pole0

Thanks for all you input
I'm not particularly comfortable paying by IBAN or using a company to take from my credit card. I'm going to see if they will take PayPal as this would a) be protected b) would be classified as a new purchase
Failing that I'm happy to walk away from the deal0 -
You transfer the money to your current account then do a CHAPS payment do them (if you want it cleared same day)0

Why not buy from a UK seller?
Probably worth paying a little more in the long run.0 -
UK don't sell this specific item and at a 70% discount too! Yes it sounds a bit too good to be true but the company does a one off each year and pull names out the hat, company is well established too0
