So is it...
(a) you can send emails TO the account, but you can't send emails FROM the account
or
(b) you can send emails TO the account and can send NEW emails from the account, but cannot reply?
Also, is this using a web-based email client or outlook / outlook express or another local client?Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0 -

Ok. So when you send emails TO your VM account, at exactly what point does it fail? What messages or returned emails do you see??Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0

I get the delivery status notification (failure) from postmaster at blueyonderNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

OK, two more questions.
1. What is the reason for the delivery failure - it will usually say "delivery failure - Address not found on host" or something similar.
2. If you send an email from somewhere completely outside of this problem (a friends PC) to your VM address, does it still happen. Or is it only when you REPLY to an email FROM this address? If so, you may need to check the return address in the email headers.Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0 -

OK, it's like this. If you're using a local client to send the email from the Yahoo account and you can't reply to that email without getting a failure, then the reply address is likely wrong. Do you use Outlook Express or a similar client for sending your emails, or do you do it all through a webpage?
Im a bit confused though, because you've mentioned a 'VM' account which I presume is virgin media. You also mentioned your yahoo account, but the error page you attached shows a BlueYonder address!Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0 -
Its all done by logging in via virginmedia.com,
the yahoo account was what i was using to test the address, making sure it would work, i dont know why its a blueyonder email address, thats what the lady on the phone told me to set it up as, might be because we used to have a blueyonder address,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
