Best place to invest £30,000 pension fund.

5 years ago we invested £30k in a portfolio. Today it is worth £29k and we only took a small income for 1 year before the stock market wobble. Should we leave well alone, or withdraw the money (we can do this without penalty now) and put into something else that would provide some increase or interest.

That isnt a pension fund. Although it has a fund range available similar to what you would expect on a mid range personal pension.
