Super food booster for cats

My cat suffers from an overactive thiroid, for which he has medication. Hes 14 years old
He has just come back from the cattery, which he is usually fine with. However he seems a bit under weight.
Most foods for older cats are to keep their weight down, but I feel he could do with a boost
Any suggestions as to what I can give him. I have tried dried cat milk, something simuliar to Complan, but he won't touch it

Has he had a recent blood test?

They can destabilise after ages sometimes.


You could check he is still eating well - it's very important to keep them eating every day, without fail.

Lots of extra meals, little snacks like lick e licks, cottage cheese if he doesn't have dairy problems, that kind of thing can help.

But most importantly, checked by the vet and don't let him go off his food without going back. It's different for dogs, but cats must eat.
