I ordered a Christmas gift from Argos for my DD it was supposed to be delivered Friday so I cleared my plans and stayed home so I didn't miss it. The time slot allocated was between 7am and 7pm... at 2.45pm I received an automated message saying that they now couldn't deliver today (Friday) and would deliver it Sat ... so I wasted most of the day waiting in when i have a million other things to do. I called Argos customer service to voice my displeasure at both the late message and the fact it wasn't even a person and they apologized and basically said call back at 8.30am and they would have more info and a rough delivery time. I called at 8.30am so far at 9.15am I am still on hold and getting more irate by the second.
