how will it affect us

Our son is 16 currently still at school and plans to return to 6th form. He may have the chance to get a part time job. What we would like to know is how it will affect our income support benefits? Will we lose a percentage of what money is received for him or the full amount equal to what he would be paid.?
Any help would be great.

If he has a part-time job it will not affect your income support.

Your son can claim EMA for the time he is in sixth form this will not stop any benfit that you get and he could still work part time

we have just received the forms for this and seen that it doesn't affect our benefit. Our main concern was any part time earnings of his.
