Sky wireless connector and multiroom?

We have 1 sky wireless connector connected to our main sky box in the living room. We have just had multiroom installed but there is no phone point in that room so will need to connect to broadband wirelessly. I have bought but not collected from sorting office network adapters to extend the broadband to this room for the xbox. Can I use this ethernet connection for the sky on demand or will I need to buy a second wireless connector from sky.

You must have both boxes connected to your telephone line for Multiroom otherwise you will be charged two subscriptions.
Conneting the Ethernet port to your router can be done with a long cable, wireless connector or a pair of powerline homeplugs. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Thanks so the powerline home plugs should work instead of buying a wireless sky connector.
I am also thinking of getting these for the phone connection but if both boxes need to be connected all the time I will need to buy a triple pack - 1 master, 2 slaves.

We had our box connected to the phone for a day or so then unplugged it over a year ago.
They only charge me for one subscription they have not queried me about it.Call me when you're sober0 -
How come the Sky installer did not connect the multiroom box to the phone? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

He did I just removed it the next day because I needed the connection for something else.
I do not buy films or do any TV shopping so I simply disconnected the phone line.Call me when you're sober0 -
They do do calls randomly to the multi room boxes so it could happen at any time that you hear from them and tell you to reconnect it.
I think they do the call twice before they contact you.
Take no notice and you will be billed for the full subscription.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
My brother has multiroom and he does not have a BT line. Are you sure that this checking up is not another one of these rumours that rapidly spread from one forum to another.
On a personal note I have not had Sky connected to the phone line for at least three years and I'm using multiroom.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0 -
