hi please can someone help have 30 k in premium bonds doing nothing where should i put the 30k i dont need to touch the money for min of 3yrs please help

My wife has jus £5k of premium bonds and received 2 prizes of £25 this week from them. We find, with low interest rates, it is worth a gamble with them.
However. you could certainly do a lot worse than puting your money with Punjab Bank. They are in the UK compensation scheme and pay decent rates that are very difficult to beat. For 3 years, they will pay 3.5% gross. Alternatively, you could lock your money away for 5 years and get 5.8% gross in the 5th year compounded. The average for the 5 years is 4.6% gross. This latter offer closes on Christmas Eve.
