Odd - as they can take as often as they want, when they want. They're not restricted to a fortnightly debit.

My bill is £14.50 a month, so they shouldn't be able to take it every two weeks right?

Sounds like the information you have is from the bank, this just means the last 2 payments where a fortnight apart, this could be due to the 1st and 2nd bill being close together or a change in the date you may have requested. Could also be if it bounced and was represented.

    Did you miss message # 2 ?

They can take it daily if they want - not that they would, but they retain the ability to. You have absolutely no control over te amounts or frequency of the debits. All you can do is cancel it.

No I didn't as that was the message I replied to. I'm asking why it says 2 weekly, I know they CAN take it daily, but they already took the monthly payment of £14.50, and according to my direct debit info it's due in another 2 weeks, when it's not due for another month.

Stating the obvious, but you need to ask Sky.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
