for my 2 year old daughter, looked everwhere but they seem to be the wrong type
looking for a old type style pram, you know that the baby faces her, they all seem to be the stroller type ones
have seen 2 but they are expensive
also a doll that does things like cry or move, cheapest place to buy,im just starting to buy all the girl things!

Hi ,
How about something like this , http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3831001/Trail/C%24cip%3D49651.Toys%2Band%2Bbaby%3EC%24cip%3D49677.Dolls%2C%2Bplaysets%2Band%2Bpushchairs%3EC%24cip%3D49682.Dolls%2Bprams%2Band%2Bfurniture.htm
And for the dolly something like this , http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3543131/Trail/C%24cip%3D49651.Toys%2Band%2Bbaby%3EC%24cip%3D49677.Dolls%2C%2Bplaysets%2Band%2Bpushchairs%3EC%24cip%3D49685.Baby%2BAnnabell.htm

i too have a 2 year old girlie and i love buying girlie things. i bought her baby born as i wanted a dolly that would last. and it has loads of bits to go with it . it also does not mind being thrown about
i think the baby born doll is perfect. you want a doll that will last. its does not cry but you can feed her and she will drink and fill a nappy . i have put all these bits away until daughter is bigger .
the problem i had was getting a pram that was small enought for my girl to reach i ended up with a little graco travel system buggy which was only £16 in asda. its great small and my girl loves the car seat bit. this was at zmas time . and baby born fits perfectly. all the other buggys were too big for her to reach the handle.
hope this helps . i love girlie shoppingLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0 -
I got a baby annabell for my LO some years ago,
please... for your own sanity.... dont buy it!
it makes the worst repetetive noise thats supposed to be crying, and all the accessories (and the doll itself at the time) cost a fortune,
but that crying noise.... *shudder*
buy this doll at your own peril

Go to TKMaxx for dolls. They have really quite fancy ones for under a tenner! I bought a cabbage patch baby for my neighbours little girl (it was a cute one though, not one of those freaky ones) and it came with loads of accessories. It cost less than a tenner and whenever I see her out and about with her pushchair, she always has my cabbage patch doll in it!What the Deuce?0

For the prams I would check out your local car boot sale....... My little one wanted a pram style one and we went to the boot sale and there was about four. We got one for £4 and she loves it.
We also have the baby born stroller that cost over £30 and she loves her pram much more than this.0 -

this looks good value

agree with earlier poster re. baby anabelle - snuffling/crying noise is horrible - dd would never have it switched on because it frightened her0 -
