  • Had a couple of days work this week so that will be going in the pot once I get paid at the end of the month. Still waiting on music magpie - never realised they were so slow!

An item on eBay currently at £60 so that will be added too.

Only counting money once received so still only on £15 atm :-(

Still no money in the pot but another mystery shop done tonight....

  • For this challenge- Dunno where I am at as putting it into a tin, but at a guess I have put in about £30. I'm quite looking forward to a surprise result!!!

However, my primary goal is the £12k one. I have one of those 'autosavers' where £250 goes into a 'locked' account each payday, so £250 gone in for that already.

I also try to save £500-£750 into joint each month, but not been able to this month as January always sucks. Luckily the OH was as he got back pay for a promotion at work - yippee!

Good luck folk - keep it up!!! The year is yet young :)

saved a very nice £20.54 so far - from quidco cashback being paid and the bits going in to my savings from the VSP challenge! will be having an eBay clearout soon though and have also mentioned to h2b about going through our dvd's and getting rid of the ones we don't watch/want any more, so that'll hopefully bring a bit more money in.

Oooo forgot about a dormant account that I haven't touched in years and received a statement through the post today ..... a grand total of £6.31! Which nicely takes me to £28.10.

I have made a small start at last - sold some broken gold jewellery to Hatton Garden Metals. So £134.40 in the pot.

Also, just remembered that I paid for last years holiday on a cashback credit card (Capitalone) which I am sure is due to pay out. OH has emailed them to chase it up - fingers crossed.
  • I was extremely lucky today and won $100 as part of a blog giveaway - a few bloggers had got together for a massive group giveaway and I was the lucky winner! It converted to £60 roughly...About to add it to my total :)
