Which is the best laptop please

Could i have a expert opinion pleaase. Could someone advise on which is the best from thse to for my dd she only wants it for college work and internet music and watching dvds

Depends which is more important - disk space or CPU.

Argos have been lazy and have not said what exact CPU in each. All other things being equal I'd go for the second one with a Core i3, as it's generally a better processor than a Celeron.

If you do a bit more research and find out the exact CPU used in each, someone can look at the benchmarks and tell you for sure.

But if disk space is important then the first one obviously has twice as much!
