  • Hi

Just come across your post. You are certainly not the only one that has not received their purchases through this company. If you go the website: hotukdeals.com (as a newby I'm not allowed to include a link) and click on Misc then Discussed and about two thirds of the way down you will find a thread called 'Discountvouchers . co . uk - is it OK'. You will find lots people with the same problem. There are 9 pages of furious people who are not getting their goods or their money back.

However, having said that there are a few who are lucky, you may be one of them. Fingers crossed.

I have purchased a Bullet Express Food Processor from Discountvouchers supplied by ontrendstores.com. I have received it with parts missing. The goods are sourced from China. The contract is with Discountvouchers not their supplier or manufacturer. I have posted alot of information about Discountvouchers and ontrendstores.com who go by various aliases. You will find all information by Yorkie58 on the website of HotUKDeals.com by clicking on the Miscellaneous section found on the right side of the home page and entitled Discountvouchers.co.uk - is it ok ?

I begin my interaction on this site at Post #263 but read the threads previous to mine to get a flavour of Discountvouchers as being far from satisfactory, particularly ontrendstores.com, which is suspicious.

I have researched the registrant names of the websites involved which does not leave a lot to be desired.

You may contact my self for further help and advice !!
  • :( I ordered an artificial Xmas tree from these DiscountVouchers people in late November. Never got it! So far impossible to contact them by phone (constant engaged tone).
In response to my Email, got an immediate complaint reference number (a machine reply, I think). This referred me to a supplier, but, on investigation, it appears to be non-existent!
No further response from DV, and no sign of the requested refund of my expenditure (35.98)!
    Is this a fraudulent operation?
    What do I do now?!
    :(

First email claire.hayes@discountvouchers.co.uk. If no joy, then write recorded delivery to the following address:-

    ASAP Discounts Ltd.
    1 THE SQUARE,
    LIGHTWATER,
    SURREY,
    UNITED KINGDOM,
    GU18 5SS,

State you are exercising your right under THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS for a full refund within 7 days and after expiry of 7 days that the request has not been fulfilled, that you intend to initiate civil litigation proceedings.

Give as much detail of the purchase reference numbers of voucher etc.

The contract is with Discount vouchers. If they have taken payment for the goods and delivery, then both have to be refunded, not the goods supplier. Write a letter to Discountvouchers demanding refund of the delivery charges. Send by recorded delivery.

    The address is as follows:-

    ASAP DISCOUNTS LTD.
    1 The Square,
    Lightwater,
    Surrey,
    United Kingdom
    GU18 5SS.

    Tel.no. 020 8123 1276

    or eMail claire.hayes@discountvouchers.co.uk

in either case, follow up with a letter sent by recorded delivery, to be sure Discountvouchers are served with your request. You then have documentary proof.

Demand an immediate payment within 7 days. Discountvouchers have to fulfill your request. State in the letter, that you are compiling a case for civil litigation which will apply for all costs involved that you are out of pocket for and that THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS apply, as discountvouchers have breached the contract of purchase.
