Gweek will send a gift certificate instead of the pass like they did last year. Got mine and I took it 3 months later to Alton (which meant I got an extra 3 months as date doesn't start until you get your actual pass) and then got the actual pass. Really good you just pay the postage. Their phone number is 01326 221361
  • I rang the hotline today and they said that you can only make the renewals over the phone and not new passes and that the head office will be ringing the Gweek site to make sure this doesn't happen :-(
  • Have just rang the renewal hotline and they said it's only for renewals not new passes. They said that Gweek shouldn't be selling them over the phone and that the head office would be contacting them about this :-(
  • Just to let you all know the Merlin annual Pass sale is on and it's £74 per person for the annual passes. Gets you entrance into 31 attractions from Alton towers, Blackpool tower, Thorpe park, all the sealifes etc.

Have just found out if you buy the pass from any theme park your 12 months start that day and you have to go and visit the attraction and join the queues. The Scottish sea life sanctuary actually sell the gift vouchers instead which are way better as this means your 12 months doesn't actually start until your first visit not the day you buy it!! Result!!!!!!!!

I went down there to get mine as I was on holiday but give them a call I'm sure they will help you... 01631 720386.

    Enjoy the savings :-)
  • Has anyone tried to buy the standard family pass at £74 per person? Every time I try it comes out at over £400 for a family of 4.

It cannot be done online, you have to buy in person at one of the attractions to get the £74 price.:(

Julie B just give the fellow at Gweek a ring on 01326 221 361 he is really really helpful and will tell you exactly how to get your family pass for £74 per person.
  • We went to the sea life centre in Birmingham today and managed to get a Merlin annual pass for £74 per person. There were loads of people doing the same thing. The only bad bit apart from parting with the cash was having to have my picture taken!
