Minor Car accident -Either party not accepting liability

This is why I now have a dash camera permenantly installed; the camera never lies. And it's cheap at the price for ensuring liars are caught out!0

LOL.
My partner's accident claim appears to be going entirely her fault. She realised that someone wasn't yielding on a miniroundabout she was on as the other party was talking to a little dog in the back seat and not looking at the road. She stopped entirely realising there was about to be an impact and sure enough the other party smacked into her car.
She moved the car to her exit road to "discuss" the accident. However, it transpires that the other party is claiming that the accident occured as they were exiting the roundabout and that my partner had veered "violently" into her lane and hit her. The other party also seems to have magically come up with an independent witness corroborating her side of the story too.
Sadly, a dash cam would have really sorted this mess out, but alas it was not meant to be.0 -

The op said it was a minor accident, damage only and details exchanged. You'll get nfi from the police and they are not in the business of deciding who is liable for insurance claims.

I don't see what you are getting at.
It's damage only and as they have exchanged details not reportable. What do xyou think will come back to bite him by not informing the police?0
