I signed up to boots mobile end of last year. Great deal really, free phone, £25 a month trariff with £360 pounds of boot points added to the card in two installments. £10 within a week and £350 after month 7. First £10 was a struggle but a quick phonecall to boots points sorted it, and in fact boots mobile paid it as well about 3 months later. Month 7 came and I emailed as directed, sent scan of bill as directed and the money appeared on my card after about a week. No complaint from me on that one. I now have just over £450 on my boots card and ready to spend.

Now the complaint. I can't buy what I want. When I started it was the intention to buy either a x-box 360 or the Canon digital SLR, it was the 350 at the time. Trouble is what the x-box is an online boots item only which means you can't use the card and the Canon is also online only (also new model is dearer but I'm not complaining about that). I have spoken to the shop and to customer services who tell me that while they sympathise there is nothing they can do.

Not a happy bunny really. Just had a look at the new camera range in boots stores and theres no Canon SLR going to be part of it. Basically stuck with £450 worth of points. I suppose I could get my lunch everyday for the next 30 weeks.
