free standing bath emergency!!

I didn't know who else to ask but I moved into a new house on Sat and was relaxing in my lovely old fashioned bath when it collapsed with me in it! The claw feet just came off.. thank god it didn't go through the ceiling! It turns out the feet weren't attached and the bath was just resting on it, is this usual? The pipe also detatched and leaked water into the downstairs flat.

What do I do? Please help!

Thank you in advance

The feet should not have come off ( I assume you were in it on your own?)

If it is a "new" new house you should be able to claim off the builders.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
