my mate as now passed is full bike test so now he wants a powerfull bike but he as a car with finance on it
he wants to know is he able to goto a bike dealership and trade is car in for a motorbike depending the value of the bike he wants ?
or does it depend on the terms of contract with is finance company

Technically the vehicle is owned by the finance company so it would be between him and them to discuss0

incorrect, he can px it at a bike dealer, they will ring a car dealer for an underwrite.
They will also ring for a settlement figure which will be worked into the deal.
i've had bikes, scooters, campers motorhomes traded in against cars.. its no problem for the dealer0
