How do you qualify for it?
A friend of mine has been informed by her ex he is going to take her to court over their baby, Would he have to fund this himself, he works full time, has a new partner but is living with his mum.
TIA

The information for eligibility is here: http://www.legalservices.gov.uk/
There is an eligibility calculator here: http://www.legalservices.gov.uk/civil/whatis_calculator.asp
It will depend on how much he earns as to whether he is eligible. The best thing is to see a solicitor who deals with legal aid and they will be able to do the calculation at the first meeting.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
