i pod help - just recieved an invoice :-( remove details?

:mad::o

firstly no ones fault but my own, not looking to blame anyone or complain to anyone or get a refund or get compensation blah blah blah...... just want to understand so it doesn't happen again!

ok, I downloaded (for free) prize claw on my i pod for my 5 yr old to play while waiting at his sisters swimming lessons. I put in my password - he didn't see it and doesn't know it.
today, i get an invoiced emailed to me for £17.49 for 1000 more grabs!!:eek: I was sat next to him (ok possibly not watching every single second) but my password was definately not put in to purchase these, so it must just be a one click no password thing.

I dont know too much about all this, i've looked and i cant see how to remove my debit card details so this can never happen again. - I actually didn't realise they were stored - thats how bad i am. I've only ever installed free stuff before.

Please help!

  • I know someone this happened to and the bill was £400 odd. They complained to Apple/iTunes and were refunded.
  • still can't see how to delete the card details. I have edited the expiry date and the security code, its let me change them - i couldn't change the actual card number. should it in theory not work if some of the info is incorrect?

    I'm so cross but i guess it could have been worse:(

    sorry didn't refresh the page before i added another post. If my bill was any more then i would complain, but i think i have got off quite lightly. it'd probably cost more the £17 in phone calls to complain.
