Panorama special 'Britain's Hidden Housing Crisis' 9pm tonight on BBC1 - 6 months deciding a homeless application for one of their own ex-tenant's (evicted for rent arrears) - well done LB Croydon. Ex-tenant still thinks they will get another house - well done LB Croydon!

    I can't belive the gall of these people.

    She has cancer but is still smoking. She has £90k equity- sell and buy something you can afford.

    He has 5/6 kids and is moaning.

    My blood id boiling. Have the kids you can afford and no more- show some responsibility.

    Buying a £500k house with a 100% mortgage. If you can't afford it sell up and get something cheaper.

    Glad they are not my neighbours! But a total expectation that ' they' will get them another flat or house.

    These repossessions have presumably happened after a court hearing, during which people would have had a chance to submit a defence (such as cancer) and discuss a payment schedule .... The programme is giving the impression that repossessions happen out of the blue.

  • That family are unbelievable, it's always someone else's fault. Their lives seem so chaotic. But poor Kevin and Patricia, I do feel sorry for them.
